Volunteers Make a Huge Difference
Lydia Tenorio has been listening to JOY 92 for over two years. Our first contact with Lydia was via telephone. She would call in regularly with song and prayer requests. It didn’t take long for Lydia to decide she wanted to volunteer. Since March of 2009 Lydia has spent countless hours helping us share Jesus with our listeners. She answers phones, helps stuff mailings, and loads of other tasks around the office.
Lydia loves the Lord and you can see his love shining through her as she works with volunteers, staff and listeners. Her positive outlook and encouragement brightens many peoples days.
Lydia says that one of her favorite verses is Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to me and I will answer you and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know”.
Every day Lydia calls on the Lord and she says he reveals the answers to her prayers in his own time. I hope we all can learn to call on the Lord and wait patiently for him to answer.
